Change that starts beneath the surface
Have you ever known exactly what to do, and still not done it? That isn’t a willpower problem. Most of what drives us lives below conscious thought, in the unconscious mind. That is where lasting change begins.
Certified Mindvalley Hypnotherapist, IAPCP. Trained by Paul McKenna, the world’s leading hypnotherapist.
Online from anywhere, or in person on Vancouver Island

Hypnotherapy helps you sort things out.
It works beneath the surface, on why you feel the way you do, instead of just managing the symptoms. When your unconscious mind manages your states with ease, your whole vision of life can change.
Does this sound like you?
- You lie awake at night while your mind replays the day, again and again.
- You’ve promised yourself “this time will be different,” and then watched the old habit win.
- Your heart pounds before you speak up in a meeting, a classroom, or a room full of people.
- You’re doing well in life, yet you know there’s another level inside you.
- You’ve tried willpower, and willpower keeps running out.
If you nodded at even one of these, you’re in the right place. None of this means something is wrong with you. It means a pattern is running beneath the surface, and patterns can change.

The mental edge of champions
Elite athletes train the mind as seriously as the body. A major 2023 review in Sports Medicine found that mental training measurably improves athletic performance. The same tools can help you in your work, your sport, and your life.
You don’t need a problem to begin
Many of my clients come for aspirational reasons. Life is good, and they want it to be even better. If you’re ready to reach higher, hypnosis can help you get there.

What hypnosis is (and isn’t)
Hypnosis is a natural state you’ve already been in hundreds of times. Have you ever driven somewhere on autopilot and arrived without remembering the drive? That’s hypnosis.
“A state of consciousness involving focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness characterized by an enhanced capacity for response to suggestion.”American Psychological Association (Elkins et al., 2015)
The average person using hypnosis alongside therapy improved more than 70% of those using therapy alone (Kirsch et al., 1995).
Paul McKenna teaches that we can all be hypnotized. What matters is your willingness to let go and visualize. And we all can visualize.
You are aware the whole time. Hypnosis is not mind control, sleep, or losing yourself.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a practical toolkit for noticing the words, pictures, and patterns your mind runs on autopilot, and choosing new ones.
“Hypnosis used to be a luxury. Now it’s a necessity.”
Anxiety and stress are on the rise. The World Health Organization reported a 25% jump in anxiety and depression worldwide in the first year of the pandemic alone, and many people are still feeling it.

“I’m happy, holy, and healthy.”
My journey with hypnosis started at age seven. My dad was a family doctor and a trained hypnotherapist, and I modelled myself after him. He taught me that simple phrase. I didn’t know it then, but he was giving me a powerful NLP anchor, and I still use it today.
My father was raised partly Buddhist and grew up in India. He was a lateral thinker, and like him, I have never seen things as simply right or wrong. More often, it depends. In school I was told my questions were hard and didn’t fit the norm. In the end, looking outside the lines is how I helped heal myself, through the power of the mind, body, and soul.
My mother was a nurse, and she taught me immense compassion for helping people. She always spoke about patient care, and the hummingbird was her favourite. My father gave me the tools. My mother gave me the heart to use them.
Today I bring almost 30 years of practice in healthcare to you, along with the tools my father first placed in my hands. I carry his wisdom into every session.
How changework sessions work
Real change doesn’t run on a clock. It happens when your unconscious mind is ready to let go of an old pattern and take on a new one. For many people, two sessions work best.
The breakthrough sessionWe break the back of the issue and interrupt the old pattern at its root.
The reinforcement session, 7 to 14 days laterYour mind integrates the change, then we lock it in so it becomes your default.

Frequently asked questions
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state you have already been in hundreds of times, like driving on autopilot. Paul McKenna shares a simple definition credited to Milton Erickson: “the loss of the multiplicity of the foci of attention.” Your attention stops scattering and gathers in one place, which makes room for new patterns.
What does hypnosis feel like?
Most people describe it as deeply relaxing, like the moment you are so absorbed in a book that the room disappears. Your focus narrows, distractions fade, and your mind becomes wonderfully open to new ideas.
Will I be asleep or lose control?
No. It is very safe. You will feel deeply relaxed but aware the whole time, and you can open your eyes whenever you choose. No one can make you do anything you don’t want to do.
What if I don’t feel hypnotized?
That’s common, and it doesn’t mean it isn’t working. Many people simply feel relaxed. Often the change happens without you even knowing it. That’s the power of the unconscious mind. If you can daydream, you can experience hypnosis.
Do I have to believe in it for it to work?
No. There’s only one question to ask yourself: am I willing to listen and learn? Change is a partnership. I bring the tools, you bring the willingness.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people find two sessions ideal. The first breaks the back of the issue, and the second, 7 to 14 days later, reinforces the change. You leave with self-hypnosis tools for life.
Can I be hypnotized online?
Yes. Research shows people respond to hypnotherapy by video about as well as they do in person (Hasan et al., 2019), and you get to relax in the comfort of your own home.
Is what I share confidential, and does this replace medical care?
Everything you share is strictly confidential. Your records are kept in a locked filing cabinet, and I follow British Columbia privacy law for clients worldwide. Hypnosis is not a substitute for medical or psychological care, so please keep following the guidance of your health care provider.
